- IGNOU only accepts handwritten assignments on A4-sized paper
- Assignments contain a total of 30% weightage of the total marks for the entire year.
- The minimum passing marks are 35 out of 100 in the case of UG courses and 40 out of 100 for PG courses.

- Candidates must submit the assignment on or before time so that they can appear in the examination
IGNOU Exam Details And Form 2024
The examination is an important part of IGNOU University as other educational institutions and business schools to analyse the growth and development of students throughout the semester and course year. This annual or semester-based program helps the organisation to understand the effectiveness of their educational programs on the skill development of candidates.
- Students are required to fill up the examination form for the Term End Examination and select the Regional Centre and Exam Centre of their choices
- Please ensure that the exam form for the course should be filled in one attempt, as the next attempt may result in a change of exam center.
- After filling up all the required details, students should make a payment using a Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking.
- Once all the formalities are completed, the summary of the examination form will be reflected on the screen.
- Take the printout or save the acknowledgment receipt for future reference.
IGNOU Result 2024
The minimum qualifying mark for every course is 40% in the final and assignment examinations. Candidates who have failed to score the minimum passing marks, need to appear the backlog examinations with next year's exams. The table below shows the IGNOU grading system.
